Interior designers, architects, clients, students, partners… We’re kicking off the year with an overview of some of the very special visitors to our factory in 2019.
From Australia to Soto de la Marina
In April, we had a visit from our partners in Australia, Artisan Stone.. They came all the way from Sydney to discover the oldest mosaic tile factory in Europe. Our colleagues Antonio, Quique and Carlos showed our visitors around the factory, where they got a first-hand look at the entire production process and some of our latest products and innovations.
Students of Interior Design and the Fundación Laboral de la Construcción
In spring and autumn, several groups of students from the CESINE University Interior Design Degree program and the Fundación Laboral de la Construcción took a tour of our facilities to learn more about mosaic tiles. The limitless possibilities of our Art Factory personalisation service was one of the great discoveries of these future interior designers and construction professionals.
From the Czech Republic
In June, our partner from the Czech Republic FINGRES paid us a visit and were given a guided tour of our factory by our Export Department. They also enjoyed a thrilling hike in the high mountains of the Picos de Europa. Fantastic!
Casa Decor

In November, we received a visit from almost 30 interior design and architecture studios from Cantabria and Asturias, organised in collaboration with the Official College of Architects of Cantabria and the Official Colleges of Interior Design of Cantabria and Asturias. We also held a work seminar with professionals from the sector in cooperation with two of our distributors in Cantabria: Lostal and Almacenes Lavín.
It was a pleasure to walk them through our production process and to explain the virtually endless possibilities of our eco-friendly mosaic tiles! Our heartfelt thanks to all who visited from Australia, from the Czech Republic and from other cities in Spain… We’re looking forward to seeing you soon!
