The hexagonal mosaic tiles are the protagonist of the bathroom and dressing room

Hisbalit took part in the renovation of a luxury apartment in the Poble Sec district of Barcelona. Nobohome, dedicated to the sale of boutique apartments in Barcelona, headed this project giving priority to guaranteeing the maximum amount of natural light by taking advantage of open diaphanous spaces. And they did it!

The apartment, located on Calle Blasco de Garay, has a kitchen that enjoys direct sunlight from one of the balconies. The space is fully equipped and has a bar feature to create a separate cooking area.

Opposite is the master bedroom where there is a striking contrast between the red headboard and the white walls and other furnishings. The en suite bathroom conserves the original hydraulic tiles as with the other adjoining spaces to create a sense of smooth continuity.

The hexagonal mosaic tiles are the protagonist of the bathroom and dressing room. The designers have cleverly taken advantage of the existing walls to separate the W.C. from the shower. The Unicolor collection by Hisbalit, reference 103 in pure white, was selected to give a unique character to the room. The contrast between the rectangular tiles and the other walls give the space a unique visual identity.

The same mosaic tile was used in the guest bathroom, both on the walls and floor. The “Total White” look is elegant and enhances the natural light of this luxury apartment while giving a feel of spaciousness. In this way, the designers have converted this space into a place where you can feel completely relaxed.

The second bedroom, also with an en suite, is exterior and opens onto a large balcony. The floor is of vintage style hydraulic tiles with rich earthy garnet tones. All the rest, the walls the bedding, the bathroom, is in pure white.

In front is the living room, where the furnishings repeat the same chromatic theme as the floor.  A sofa in red, armchairs in pale pink and shelves in dark wood are combined, along with a vintage touch, to create a balanced and inviting atmosphere. Thanks to abundant natural light flooding through the large windows, one could easily spend hours and hours in this space.

The apartment also includes an office/studio space, wood and white tones, with a cool minimalist style containing a simple table as a place for work or relaxation.
